Description
Acetate sheets (also known as mica sheets or mica vellum) are incredibly versatile.
Be it stamping, embossing or creating an ink background. It's the perfect transparent base for your creative projects.
Vaessen Creative acetate boards are made of durable and flexible plastic.
The acetate sheet is 12 x 12 inches and 0.2 mm thick.
You can score, fold, cut and even cut out motifs from plastic sheets with metal stencils (always make a test cut first when using a die cutting machine). They are strong enough to be used as stencils and are very suitable for creating transparent cards, shaker elements.
You can also work with glass paint, acrylic paint, acrylic ink, alcohol ink and alcohol markers with these thin plastic sheets.
Acetate sheets are heat resistant up to 200 degrees, which means you can dry ink and even embossing powder with an embossing gun.
Tip! When working with ink, always use a waterproof pigment ink such as StaZon or Archival. Otherwise, the ink may smear.
Another tip! When applying embossing powder or creating a shaker, use an anti-static cloth to prevent the powder or glitter from sticking.
